Hawaii / Tahiti 30 Day Cruise - Ship Tour Part 1

Westerdam Tour Part 1

I’ll take a little time here to give a photo tour of the Westerdam, but first a little background.  It was built in 2004 and is 950 feet long and 106 feet wide.  There are eleven passenger decks and it holds 1950 passengers and 800 crew members.  As I have said before, it is a pretty small ship compared to many of the newer cruise ships which hold thousands of passenger, but it is very comfortable and we prefer the smaller ships.  The following pictures show most of the main public areas and some of the bars and gathering places scattered through the ship.

The Atrium from Deck 1.  The Atrium is in the center of the ship and extends up three decks.
