Today we
are at sea and as we usually do, we slept in.
When it was time for our room stewards to clean our room, we went to the
Neptune Lounge and spent the rest of the morning looking at the photos we had taken so far. We still haven’t looked at all of them, but
we’re getting caught up. Getting
behind may seem odd, but we take a lot of pictures. 😊
By the time
we finished our picture browsing, it was time for lunch and it was off to the
Lido for lunch and then Val went to trivia.
While Val was gone, I wrote the blog post for Devil’s Island and started sorting the pictures we took there.
That may not seem like much fun and it is a bit of a chore, but I do
like writing the blog and organizing the photos so I don’t really mind.
When Val
returned from trivia, we went to a port talk on our next port which had been
postponed when the port guide was sick.
We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing, but did take some time to
get our things together for our tour tomorrow as we have an early start.
We did our
usual routine of trivia, dinner and the casino and called it a night as we have
to get up early for our tour tomorrow.
We will be visiting our first Brazilian port, the city of Belem at the
mouth of the Amazon.
