Day 1, our first full day together. There's not really much too say about it, I guess this group of geezers is pretty boring. Actually, it was a day to talk and get caught up on our lives. Greg, John, Jack and I took a morning hike down to the Teton River, but except for a trip to Driggs for groceries, that was about the extent of the activities. Here are some pictures from our hike.

After our hike we all gathered for lunch, one thing we're not short of is plenty of good food and drink.

The rest of the day was spent catching up and relaxing. In late afternoon, Jack and Steph decided to take their fishing gear down to the river and see if the can find a good spot to fish. They didn't have much luck, but are going to try again.

When Jack and Steph returned, we had a great dinner of plank grilled pork chops with a pesto sauce, baked potatoes and asparagus. After dinner we retired to the media room and watched several videos Jack and I had made of previous trips. We finished the evening with dessert and more conversation.
It has been so good to see everyone, we usually only get to together once a year so it's a very special time. Just being together and catching up on what's happening in our lives is a lot of fun. And this house has everything we could want; great views, spacious and comfortable living areas, beautiful bedroom suites for everyone, a hot tub, great kitchen and of course the wonderful views. This is an amazing house especially considering the cost. Here is how it looks from the outside..
That's it for day one, not very exciting, but I can guarantee we are all having a great time. Lots and lots of good conversation.
