Cruise Day 27

We lost an hour of sleep last night, so we slept in this morning. We did get up in time to have breakfast in the Neptune Lounge. Our plan today is to relax and take it easy. I spent most of the morning updating the blog and Val read out on the balcony. Sometimes I wonder if the time I spend writing the blog every day or so is worth it, but then if I want to find out something we did on a previous trip I can look it up and there it is in the blog, plus I actually enjoy going back and reading about our travels again, so yes, in the end it is well worth it to me.
After lunch in the Lido, I spent some time catching up on my emails and then joined Val for some reading and relaxing out on the balcony. Sadly though, it looks like I may have caught whatever Val had before she came down with bronchitis as I am beginning to cough, not a good sign. The trivia questions today were very difficult, so we didn’t do very well, but nobody did, so we stayed in the middle of the pack.
After trivia we relaxed until dinner and then spent another short evening in the casino. With Val on the road to recovery and me getting sick we didn’t do much at all today, but I think rest is probably the best treatment we can get. Tomorrow we’ll be in Tonga.
