As I mentioned in my blog posts on our Machu Picchu trip, Tony was our "red group" leader and escort from the ship. I don't know his exact title, but his job on the ship is the digital workshops instructor. Before we even met him we had heard of Tony as everyone who took any of the workshops always talked about how great Tony was and we found out what they meant during our trip. He was funny and entertaining, but always in charge making sure everything went as planned. As we took our journey from the ship to Machu Picchu and back, our group got to know each other pretty well and formed a bond and Tony was a big part of that as he seemed to create an atmosphere of camaraderie.
A week or so after our Machu Picchu trip, Tony organized a get together of everyone in the red group. It was a great evening where we relived our trip and had a last chance to see everyone we had shared such a wonderful adventure with. Tony also collected any pictures any of of us wanted to share and put them all on a DVD for us. He also put together a video using his own pictures and video clips of our trip which he showed at our get together. I wanted to put it in the blog and he gave me permission to do so, but the file was too big for me to directly do so. I have tried off and on during the last few weeks to get it to an acceptable size and finally was able to do so. I had to convert it to a "flash" format so you will need a flash player (usually installed) on your browser to view. It is also still pretty big, so it may load pretty slowly. So here it is and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Thank you again, Tony.
